We are one of the largest independent MRO companies in Australasia. Whilst this role focuses on a customer project, our wider business also deals in line maintenance, aircraft parking and storage and asset management to name a few other business areas.
Our project work spans from gear landing changes to engine changes, return to service work and everything in between. If a client has a need, we can ensure a solution.
The B1 LAME Role
We require an A330 (Trent), B1 CASA Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, to assist us on a significant customer project that we have been granted the opportunity to complete.
The project in Perth requires a small project team (in the region of 10/12 Staff) to assist on a main landing gear change and see the Aircraft back to serviceable condition along with defect rectification, after prolonged storage
You will be confident in working quickly, but accurately and safely to ensure project timelines provided by the Project Lead are met. The project will commence towards the middle of March and will be ongoing for approximately 2 weeks if everything goes to plan, with potential to then complete a further 4-6 weeks on return to service for the same aircraft.
In the team you will also be working alongside a Project Lead (also a B1 LAME), B1 engineer, a B2 engineer and a group of supporting Aircraft Maintenance engineers.
We will allow those who wish, to work on an ABN if that is preference but can also provide casual roles under our Heston MRO Casual agreement.
What do you need to be successful?
- Non restricted B1 CASA Licence with type rating A330 (Trent) and be recent in certifying this aircraft type (6 in 24 months must be fulfilled)
- Landing gear replacement and or return to service experience will be advantageous
- PER ASIC
- You will have ideally worked on a project or similar such as base type work
- Be available from the end of March for a minimum of 2 weeks to work full time hours
- Ability to work outside come rain or shine
