Heston MRO was branded back in 2018 after a purchase from another company that had been around for over 20 years. From then on, we put our heart and soul into building 2 products, the MRO for our customers and our culture for our employees. Heston MRO focuses primarily on line maintenance, but recently we have pushed forward and continue to develop our projects unit of the business, along with our engine on wing/ off wing business unit.
Our Company is in all major International airport Terminals around Australia. Each of our locations are headed up with one of our experienced Station Maintenance Managers to support their engineering crews that work hard to keep the air network flying. Our Head Office, where all the back-end work happens, is located in Brisbane just a stone’s throw from the airport precinct.
LAME – B737NG/Max
Our Brisbane station is looking to hire a B1 or B1 and B2 LAME that has type ratings on B737 NG and Max to support our client Fiji Airways and Air Vanuatu.
We prefer CASA Licenced, however, both providers do accept a foreign licence which we can use straight away until you obtain CASA, if you do not have it yet.
If you have only B737NG/Max then the only roles we can offer are casual, but if you also have another 2 or more of the following, we may be able to offer a full time position:-
A330 Trent
A320 Neo
A320 CFM56
A350
How you can be that LAME we are looking for?
If you are a citizen of Australia or Permanent resident- then great! However, if you are not applying in those categories you will have the ability to be sponsored by us, or have a current valid working visa with full rights to work.
You must have B737NG/Max and 2 or more of the above ratings for your licence to work operationally for us.
You will hold an Australian ASIC or be eligible to apply for one.
You must have a driving licence (whether AU or international), for air side driving purposes.
The candidate will be able to work a continuous shift pattern across 7 days. Our shifts at Brisbane station are days and afternoons only, at present.
