Based in Brisbane, Australia with operations at all major airports in Australia including Brisbane, Coolangatta, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, we are seeking someone to support our Brisbane Station.
We are looking for an independent and skilled administrator, ideally with experience in the aviation sector and experience with Brisbane Airport systems.
The confidence to host important clients with dignity and professionalism will be equally important as an ability to develop working relationships with the station-based team and the Head office team.
The role will report directly to Head Office in Brisbane so a comfort in using TEAMs, SharePoint and other online tools will be advantageous.
Hours can be negotiated but should ideally align with station and head office needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure efficient operations
- Coordinate and manage the flow of goods in and out of the storage facility, maintaining accurate records through our inventory system
- Hosting international auditors
- Working closely with a Brisbane-based Head Office to ensure compliance with multiple business systems
- Coordinating with Airport authorities to access, movement of goods / deliveries, station maintenance etc.
- Ability to obtain an Airside Drivers Authority (ADA) – requires a state drivers licence as a minimum
- Coordinating roster changes and manpower needs
- Station communication and bulletins
- Station consumables and maintenance of the office environment
